01What lolipop is

lolipop is payment monitoring and notification infrastructure for the Monero (XMR) network. We provide:

  • A hosted checkout page buyers are redirected to
  • Detection of incoming XMR payments to your wallet
  • Webhook notifications when payments are confirmed
  • An API to create payment sessions

lolipop does not:

  • Hold, custody, transmit, or control any funds
  • Execute transactions on your behalf
  • Have access to your spending keys
  • Know what you are selling
  • Store buyer personal data

lolipop is not a payment processor, money transmitter, or financial institution. We are software infrastructure. The view key you share with us is read-only — we are mathematically incapable of spending or moving your funds.

02Who can use lolipop

You may use lolipop if:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • Your use complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • You are not in a jurisdiction where accepting Monero payments is prohibited

You may not use lolipop to:

  • Sell anything illegal under the laws of your jurisdiction or Romanian law
  • Process payments for counterfeit goods
  • Facilitate fraud, scams, or theft
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware or harmful software
  • Engage in any activity that creates legal liability for lolipop

You warrant that everything you sell through lolipop is legal where you sell it. lolipop has no visibility into what you sell and relies entirely on your compliance with this warranty.

03Your view key and wallet

By providing your view key, you confirm:

  • You are the legitimate owner of the wallet address
  • The view key is genuine and corresponds to your wallet address
  • You understand lolipop can read your incoming transaction history using this key
  • You understand lolipop cannot spend or transfer your funds

lolipop stores your view key encrypted at rest. We do not share it with third parties. You can revoke access at any time by generating a new wallet or changing your view key.

04API keys and account security

Your API key (sk_live_...) is shown once at signup. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your API key confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your API key
  • Rotating your key if you suspect it has been compromised

lolipop is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your API key.

05Fees and billing

Fees are charged according to the plan you select:

  • Free: $0/month, up to 50 orders
  • Pro: $15/month + 1% of confirmed order volume
  • Business: $49/month + 1% of confirmed order volume

Volume fees are calculated from our order database at the end of each calendar month. We do not surveil the Monero blockchain to calculate fees.

All fees are denominated in USD and billed in XMR at the market rate on the billing date. Payment is due within 3 days of invoice. Non-payment results in automatic downgrade to the free tier. We do not offer refunds on subscription fees.

06Service availability

lolipop is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service
  • Error-free operation
  • A specific response time for webhook delivery

lolipop is not liable for missed payments, lost orders, or business losses caused by service downtime or webhook delivery failures. We recommend you implement idempotency and retry logic in your webhook handler.

07Data and privacy

We store minimal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details. Order data is purged after 90 days. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

08Prohibited jurisdictions

lolipop does not knowingly provide services to users in jurisdictions where such services are prohibited. It is your responsibility to determine whether using lolipop is lawful in your location.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lolipop's liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

lolipop is not liable for:

  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Actions of third parties
10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of lolipop after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify merchants of material changes via email.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Romania.
